Due to the growth of both our running club and our new Tiny Team we have made few changes to the set up of the club.
1) We will now run two groups on a Monday. David & Stuart will run both a beginners group and an intermediate group.
2) On a Thursday we will be running three groups, beginners, imtermediate and a faster group which will be run by Geoff..
Distances and courses are varied but will take into consideration the people who attend each group.
3) The Tiny Team has a new Chief. Liz Ellis is now responsible for the running and organising the team. Thank you Liz for accepting this role on behalf on the Team.
Tiny Team Isabella has been born from the children watching their parents taking part in the St Helens 10K. The children wanted to take part in a run just like their mummys and daddies and between them arranged a group run. This has since been named Tiny Team Isabella.
Tiny Team Isabella has already signed up for their first 1k at the sefton park run on the 02.05.15.
"Training" takes place on a sunday at Taylor Park in St Helens meeting at the lake near the play area end at 12.00pm.
They run around the lake and then go to play on the park. They are very cute!
The youngest is 2 and the oldest is 11 years old.
They run under the supervision of their parents so if you want to join them you can but you must supervise your child at all times.
The St Helens 10K and the 2K teams have done us very proud. Between them they have raised nearly £6,000.00 and the money is still coming in.
Well done to everyone involved you have been amazing!
This Sunday our biggest ever Team will be taking part in the St Helens 10k and the Childrens 2k races.
We have 48 runners in the 10k and three in the 2k. Thats 51 runners all dressed in our fabulous pink shirts representing our foundation. We are still two days before the main event and have already raised over £4,000 for our chosen charities.
We cant wait for this weekend, it is going to be a fabulous tribute to our Angel Isabella in our home town event.
If you can please come a long and give us a cheer!
We have booked the Griffin Inn for our celebrations after the St Helens 10K. It is booked for 1pm it will be a great chance to celebrate our first event as a team. All team members are invited and their families are welcome. We have arranged a buffet for team members.
The order for the running shirts and vests has been submitted! We can only order them in batches so if you were not part on the original order then you can be added to the reserve list for next time.Just let me know through email firstname.lastname@example.org
Due to the conditions of the paths it is with regret that I have to cancel tonight's running club.
As Team Leader your safety is my priority so I dont have a choice but to cancel.
